Tax Due Date Reminder System

Never Let Anyone Miss a Tax Due Date Again!

You'll acquire more new clients and retain your existing ones even longer with our new tax due date reminder system.

This system allows your clients to sign up for email due date reminders that are tailored to them: to individuals, to business owners, to people who earn tips, to employers, and more!

The tax due date reminder system is a system that sends email to your clients when a tax deadline is approaching. It lets your clients know not only when a tax deadline is approaching but that if they have any problems with the specific tax issue  that they can contact you.

It is flexible. We've included due date reminders for 57 of the most common deadlines, but if you have a client- base with specific needs, you can write due date reminders for them.

For example, you can create due date reminders for your state's tax deadlines as well.

The due dates are organized into categories for the following groups of people:

  • Individuals
  • Employers
  • Business Owners
  • Corporations
  • S Corporations
  • Partnerships
  • Household Employers (people who have nannies, housekeepers, etc.)
  • Employees who work for tips
Here are some examples of the due date reminders that we send out:

Hello Sam,

February is winding down and it's time to file information returns (Form 1099) for certain payments you made during 2005.

This must be completed by February 28th. There are different forms for different types of payments. Use a separate Form 1096 to summarize and transmit the forms for each type of payment. See the 2005 Instructions for Forms 1099, 1098, 5498, and W-2G for information on what payments are covered, how much the payment must be before a return is required, what form to use, and extensions of time to file.

If you file Forms 1098, 1099, or W-2G electronically (not by magnetic media), your due date for filing them with the IRS will be extended to March 31.

Please call us at 802-555-1234 if you have any questions.
